Dear Parents/Guardians,
“Relay For Life” represents our hope that those lost to cancer will not be forgotten, that those who are battling cancer will be supported, and that cancer will one day be eliminated. This year Relay for Life will be held on Saturday, June 10th, Parkville Youth Org Athletic Field, 819 66th St, Brooklyn, NY 11220. Gate opens at 11:00am, Opening Ceremony is at 1:00pm and the Survivor Lap begins at 2:00pm.
Please join P.S. 205 as we support the fight against cancer with the “Relay for Life” initiative. All money we collect will be donated to Relay for Life.
We are attaching a “paper foot” to dedicate to someone you know that lost the battle to cancer, someone that is battling the fight against cancer, or a survivor. Please make a donation of $1.00 for each foot and return it in an envelope to room 203.
If your child would like to buy a bracelet to support Relay for Life, please send your child in with $1.00. All money collected will be donated to Relay. Please send all donations in an envelope with your child’s name and class on it, to room 203.
If you wish to purchase a Luminaria Bag in memory of someone, for someone who is battling Cancer or for a survivor, please fill out the form on the bottom and send it back along with $5.00 to cover the cost of the bag. A bag will be picked out for you and added to the survivors walk the day of our Relay for Life event.
