NYS ELA & Math Tests

The Exam Dates for students who are already receiving “in-person” instruction are as follows:

• Grade 3,4 & 5  English Language Arts,   Tuesday, April 20th, 2021
• Grade 3, 4 & 5 Mathematics,  Tuesday, May 4th, 2021
• Grade 4  Science Written Exam (only Grade 4)  Monday, June 7th, 2021

Remote Students

Remote learning students are not expected to participate in the tests if they are receiving entirely remote instruction; however, if a parent/guardian of a remote student chooses to have their child participate they should inform PS 205 by indicating this on the online form: “Remote Students: Opting Into NYS Exams 2021” .  In order for the school to effectively plan for testing, we are encouraging the parents of remote students to make their decision no later than March 26, 2021.

*As parents/guardians make your decision, it’s important to note that because all New York State Exams will be administered inside the school building, all students taking the exam will be required to fill out the daily NYC Health Screening.
